## Abstract A comprehensive study of the base hydrolysis of all phosphodiester bond‐containing capsular polysaccharides of the 23‐valent pneumococcal vaccine is described here. Capsular polysaccharides from serotypes 6B, 10A, 17F, 19A, 19F, and 20 contain a phosphodiester bond that connects the rep
