✦ Synopsis

With opto-acoustic spectroscopy in a multipass cell, using a NaCl color center laser around 6500 cm 01 , weak overtone transitions in the ( 30 0 3 ) R ( 00 0 0 ) band of 12 C 32 S 2 could be detected. The analysis of the band, based on the extrapolation of molecular constants from the literature, revealed Fermi resonances between the levels of a Fermi polyad.

The exposure-excretion relationship to carbon disulfide (CS 2 ) vapor in 407 exposed workers was studied during the second half of the working week. Carbon disulfide concentrations were also determined in 50 nonexposed subjects. The geometric mean value for CS 2 in urine samples from the latter was:

## Abstract The high‐resolution stimulated Raman spectrum of the 2ν~10~ band located at 1664.16 cm^−1^ of C~2~H~4~ has been reanalyzed, thanks to the tensorial formalism developed in Dijon for X~2~Y~4~ asymmetric‐top molecules. A total of 191 lines were assigned and fitted as a single band without

## Abstract High temperature Raman experiments were carried out on carbon nanowalls (CNWs). The intensity of the defect‐induced D mode decreased significantly after the sample was heated in air ambient. The Raman intensity ratio of D mode and G mode, __I__~D~/__I__~G~, changed from 2.3 at room temp

A spectrum of HSiF 3 has been recorded at room temperature with a gas pressure of 20 -50 Torr in the near-infrared region. A laser photoacoustic spectrometer consisting of a longitudinal resonant cell coupled to a titanium:sapphire ring laser was employed. The 5 1 and 6 1 overtone bands of H 28 SiF
