Ce 4f states in CeSi have been investigated by Ce 3d-4f and 4d-4f resonant photoemission spectroscopies. The two obtained Ce 4f spectra exhibit a peak at 1.0 eV besides the structures due to 4f 1 and 4f 0 final states which have been observed in the 4f spectra of conventional Ce compounds. We have a
