✦ Synopsis
Dimensional protein crystals imaged at low temperature and under low dose conditions reveal information to better than 3A resolution. Imaging under similar conditions and image reconstruction of non periodic specimens such as spherical viruses have yielded structural detail to only 30A resolution.
