β¦ Synopsis
High-resolution (2 + 1) multiphoton ionization spectroscopy of Br, was studied. Rotationally resolved spectra of the gerade Rydberg state [II,,,] 4d( u'= 1, 2) are reported for the first time. Rotational constants B, were deduced for the three isotopes, which are quite close to the data of the ground state of Br:. In addition, the angular momentum D of the state was suggested to be reassigned to be 0.

High resolution FTIR spectra of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoromethane (R134a) were recorded using both an enclosive flow cell and a supersonic jet expansion. The temperature in the collisionally cooled enclosive flow was approximately 150 K, whilst in the jet a rotational temperature of 65 K was achieved. A ro
The laser excitation spectrum of the Br,+ molecular ion was observed at rotational resolution for the first time, with the ions being generated by Penning ionization. In contrast to Cl: and F2+ but in agreement with recent theoretical work, no vibrational or rotational perturbations are observed. Th
The first reported multiphoton ionization spectrum (2 + 1) for atomic germanium has been obtained by multiphoton dissociation of a tetraethylgermane (TEG) precursor. The germanium spectrum indicates that the atoms were produced primarily in the ground electronic state. Time-of-flight mass spectromet
