The milimeter-wave, submillimeter-wave, and FIR spectra of the ground state of \(\mathrm{CHF}_{3}\) have been observed and analyzed up to \(J=78\). The resulting spectroscopic constants are: \(B_{0} / \mathrm{MHz}=\) \(10348.8706(2), D_{j} / \mathrm{kHz}=11.34482(13), D_{J K} / \mathrm{kHz}=-18.1176

β¦ Synopsis
The ground state rotational spectrum of (\mathrm{CHF}_{2} \mathrm{Cl}) has been observed and analyzed in the frequency region (70-1280 \mathrm{GHz}). Transitions with values of (J) up to 80 have been observed and the centrifugal distortion analysis of the spectrum has been performed using both the (A) - and the (S)-reduced forms of Watson's Hamiltonian. Accurate values of the quartic and sextic centrifugal distortion constants have been obtained. ci 1993 Academis Press. Inc.
