โœฆ Synopsis

A free vibration analysis of laminated annular sector plates is described. The edges of the plates are clamped. The in-plane and rotatory inertia are included in the analysis. The frequencies are obtained by using an integral equation technique. For numerical work a two layered SGE cross-ply plate is considered. The results are compared with those obtained by using different analytical methods. Results of a parametric study, with the sector angle and radii ratio varied, are presented.

The natural frequencies of moderately thick transverse isotropic annular sector plates, as obtained by using Mindlin's theory, which includes the effect of shear deformation and rotatory inertia, are presented. The plate is clamped at all the edges. An integral equation technique has been used in th
