Photo-effects in the anodic oxidation of silver electrodes have been examined by means of potentiodynamic and ac impedance-following techniques . A primary photo-effect arses in the formation of Ag.0 after the oxide has formed a film appreciably thicker than a monolayer. Secondary photo-effects aris
