We introduce the concepts of fuzzy transformation semigroups, coverings, cascade and wreath products for fuzzy finite state machines. In order to overcome some of the difficulties which arise from the fuzzification of these concepts, we also introduce the notions of polysemigroupsand weak coverings.

Given a fuzzy finite state machine M = (Q, Z, y), a fuzzy closure operator is defined which induces a Lowen-type fuzzy topology z in Q. The concepts of separation of fuzzy subsystems and connectedness of fuzzy finite state machines are developed. Some results on connectedness and weak connectedness
Support vector machine (SVM) has been very successful in pattern recognition and function estimation problems. In this paper, we introduce the use of SVM for multivariate fuzzy linear and nonlinear regression models. Using the basic idea underlying SVM for multivariate fuzzy regressions gives comput
The starting point of this paper is the introduction of a new measure of inclusion of fuzzy set A in fuzzy set B. Previously used inclusion measures take values in the interval [0; 1]; the inclusion measure proposed here takes values in a Boolean lattice. In other words, an inclusion is viewed as an
