โœฆ Synopsis

We have realized and studied the fiber laser based on
4-core Yb-doped fiber and multimode Bragg grating as the input
reflector. The lasing efficiency slope of 55% was measured. An
investigation of the output emission has shown that the far-field
pattern constitutes an interference picture. That allows us to
conclude that the multimode Bragg grating provides phase locking
of 4 lasers utilizing the different active cores. A coherent
length of laser is longer than possible difference between optical
ways of different active cores.

We have realized a set of multimode lasers based on a double-clad Yb-doped fiber and Bragg gratings written on a graded-index multimode fiber. Efficient laser operation in the spectral range of 1.03-1.09 ฮผm has been observed. Spectral characteristics of the laser emission have been investigated.

## Abstract A reconfigurable multiwavelength erbiumโ€doped fiber laser, using two multimode fiber Bragg gratings (MFBGs), is presented. Two MFBGs in Lโ€band are cascaded to form two overlapping resonant cavities. Various configurations of fourโ€, threeโ€, or twoโ€wavelength lasing are demonstrated exper

## Abstract A novel interrogation of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) in a strain sensor, which is based on Erโ€doped fiber laser's transient regime, is reported. The applied strain on FBG changes the laser cavity loss, which in turn modifies the laser's transient regime. The strain value can be obtained b

A 74 pm ultra-narrow linewidth diode laser (LD) claddingding-pumped Tm 3+ -doped fiber laser was reported. The maximal continuous wave (CW) output power was 14.5 W at 1946 nm, with a slope efficiency of 37.5% and the threshold of 5.3 W. The single-mode double-cladding Tm 3+ -doped fiber had a core d

In this paper, a multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber laser based on a microstructure fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is proposed and demonstrated. The fiber Bragg grating is fabricated in a large-air-hole microstructure optical fiber using the phase-mask method. The laser based on this novel grating can be

## Abstract This study describes a wavelengthโ€tunable fiber laser based on a broadband fiber mirror and an etched fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with a tuning range exceeding 15 nm. The experimental results indicate that this configuration provides a simple and economical method of implementing a wavele
