A conductimetric method was developed for the monitoring of thermodynamically-controlled enzyme peptide synthesis. It was applied to the synthesis of Na-benzyloxycarbonylalanylphenylalaninamide, in the presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa elastase. A linear continuous decrease of conductance could be
