✦ Synopsis
The extension of embedded elliptical cracks by fatigue is predicted on the basis of the stress-intensity factors given by Isida and Noguchi and the ASME-Code. The calculation is performed until wall penetration and the further extension of the developed surface crack is considered.

Die Ausdehnung von innenliegenden Rissen durch Errnudung wird vorausgesagt, ausgehend von Spannungsintensitatsfaktoren von Isida und Noguchi sowie des ASME-Codes. Die Berechnung wird durchgefiihrt bis zur Wanddurchdringung. Die weitere Ausbreitung des dadurch entstehenden Oberflachenrisses wird ebenfalls behandelt.
