✦ Synopsis
Using a high-resolution x-ray crystal di †raction spectrometer, x-ray line widths of the lines of Fe, Co, Ni Ka 1, 2 and Cu were analysed. Thereby, an evolutionary strategy was used for spectrum deconvolution to determine the life-time governed contributions to the line widths. On this basis, Coster-Kronig widths are calculated and L 2 -L 3 X assumptions about the energetics of radiationless transitions are derived.

The structure of plasma-sprayed hydroxyapatites possesses a variety of partially dehydrated hydroxyapatite structures. Nuclear magnetic resonance, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray di4raction have been used to analyze the structure of partially dehydrated hydroxyapatites. The oxyhydroxyapatites are prepare
