✦ Synopsis

We report the experimental characterization of multimode networks. DUT reference plane wa¨eguides support two fundamental modes. A multimode TRL calibration is used to deri¨e multimode S parameters. Quasi-TEM and full-wa¨e simulation results are in good agreement with measurements. The present work outlines an interesting feature of the multimode TRL calibration procedure.
