โฆ Synopsis
Excess molar volumnes V and excess molar enthalpies H of nitrobenzene i q benzene i jk i jk ลฝ . ลฝ .4 j q toluene, or qo-xylene, or qp-xylene k ternary mixtures have been measured as a function of composition dilatometrically and calorimetrically at the temperature 308.15 K. The data obtained have been analysed in terms of the Flory theory. It has been observed that the H E values predicted by this theory compare reasonably well with the corresponding i jk experimental values. The V E values are of the same order and sign, however, the agreement i jk with the predictions is not satisfactory for these ternary mixtures. แฎ 1998 Academic Press Limited KEYWORDS: excess molar volumes; excess molar enthalpies; isothermal compressibility; coefficient of volume expansion 2.
