The rate constants for the reactions C20 + H -products (1) and C20 + H2 + products ( 2) have been determined at room temperature by means of laser-induced fluorescence detection of C,O radicals, c oenerated either by the KrF excimer laser photolysis of C302, or by the reaction of C302 with 0 atoms.

The rate of reaction of O(lD2) with X20 relative to that of reaction with neopentane has been determined by a competitive method. The value obtained, kI.&&op\_ = 0.38, is in good agreement with that determined previously\_ in this laboratory. by a different experimental technique. It is aiso fomd th
The rate constants of the reactions of ethoxy (C 2 H 5 O), i-propoxy (i-C 3 H 7 O) and npropoxy (n-C 3 H 7 O) radicals with O 2 and NO have been measured as a function of temperature. Radicals have been generated by laser photolysis from the appropriate alkyl nitrite and have been detected by laser-
The rate coefficient for the reaction of the peroxypropionyl radical (C 2 H 5 C(O)O 2 ) with NO was measured with a laminar flow reactor over the temperature range 226-406 K. The C 2 H 5 C(O)O 2 reactant was monitored with chemical ionization mass spectrometry. The measured rate coefficients are k(T
