The EPR of Mn\*+ in cobalt fluosihcate hexahydrate has been stu&ed at room temperature\_ An axial spm-hamiltoman euplamed the observed spectrum. The presence of a single Mn\*\* sate 111 an octahedral oxygen environment was confirmed A phase transition at -55°C was observed.

A simple physical model is used to interpret the line shape of the Mn 2+ EPR spectrum of the first incommensurate phase of betaine calcium chloride dihydrate and it is discussed in comparison with other models. Furthermore, the critical behavior of BCCD at the normal to incommensurate phase transiti
For the interpretation of the EPR lineshape of incommensurate phases there exist many theoretical models. We suppose a simple physical model to interpret the lineshape of the Mn 2+ EPR spectrum of the first incommensurate phase of betaine calcium chloride dihydrate (BCCD) and discuss it in compariso
