A simple physical model is used to interpret the line shape of the Mn 2+ EPR spectrum of the first incommensurate phase of betaine calcium chloride dihydrate and it is discussed in comparison with other models. Furthermore, the critical behavior of BCCD at the normal to incommensurate phase transiti
