The glossary was compiled by the faculty of the Hungarian Department during the period August 1981 to October 1982 and alphabetized with the assistance of the Information Systems Division, using the DLIFLC Text Organization and Processing System (DLITOP).
Some printing conventions were adopted because of the special nature of the Hungarian diacritics which could not be duplicated by the computer printer.
