D;(PrO) and Dt(NdO) have been measured mass spectrometrically and found to be 736-4 f 126 kJ/mol and 697.0 F 12.6 kJ/mol, respectively. Ionic contnbutions to bonding in these molecules are discussed.

Carbon monoxide adsorbed on Al-promoted Ni and Cu surfaces undergoes facile dissociation at 300 K or below. CO adsorbed on an Al-promoted Ni surface shows a larger separation (3.5 eV) between the 50 and 40 levels compared to that on a clean Ni surface (3.0 eV), besides exhibiting a low C-O stretchin
The dispersion force component of surface free energy, rg, and the nondispersive interaction free energy between solid and water, Iiw, were determined by the two-liquid contact-angle method, i.e., by the measurement of contact angles of water drops on plain solids in hydrocarbon, for commercially av
One set of wires of an 82.6 Au-17.4 Ag (wt.%) alloy was drawn at -195ยฐC to a true strain of 0.62. A second set, after drawing at -195ยฐC to a strain of 0.62, was annealed at room temperature. Two further sets were drawn at -195ยฐC to a strain of 0.62, brought to room temperature and drawn to total st
