## Abstract Dislocations at and near the planar interface between two anisotropic media are considered. It is shown that the energy factor for a dislocation at the interface can be expressed simply in terms of the __K__‐matrices for the two media. The __K__‐matrix is defined so that __E__=(1/2)__b_
