## We develop an adaptive control technique for the regulation of a class of linear, discrete-time, time-varying system. The only a priori knowledge required is a bound of the varying component of the parameters. The result is concerned with global behaviour.

β¦ Synopsis
ln this note a method is presented for doing discrete time adaptive control of a nonlinear system which is given by a cascade connection ofa preload nonlinearity followed by a linear system. It is shown that the algorithm will ensure that the closed loop system is globally convergent with a specific residue and stable for both the deterministic and stochastic cases.
