โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

A mixture of sodium deoxycholate and ฮฒโ€cyclodextrin has been used to resolve the enantiomers of the 1โ€cyanoโ€2โ€substitutedโ€benz[L]isoindole and dansyl derivatives of a variety of amino acids. The enantiomers of CBIโ€histidine and glutamic acid were resolved with this system unlike the case of ฮณโ€cyclodextrin in combination with SDS reported in the literature. Dansyl derivatives have been generated in situ to provide information about the migration behavior of dansylic acid, a major byโ€product in the dansylation.

The direct enantiomeric analysis of six DNP-amino acids by capillary electrophoresis is reported. This study describes a comparison of several chiral buffer additives. Both the natural proteins BSA, AGP, ovomucoid and casein, and the cyclic oligosaccharides a-, O-, and y-cyclodextrin were used as ch
