A series of new 1โ€substituted 3โ€bromoadamantanes has been prepared. An improved method for the formation of cyclopropanes from olefins with diazomethane and copper salts is described.

## Abstract The synthesis of several derivatives of 2,6โ€diazaโ€adamantane (**2**, **3**, **5โ€“9**) is described using the diepoxides **1** and **4** as starting materials.
