✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [CuCl 2 (C 6 H 5 Cl 2 N) 2 ], each Cu atom has a distorted tetrahedral coordination involving two Cl À anions and two 2-chloro-5-(chloromethyl)pyridine ligands. The molecular structure and packing are stabilized by intra-and intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁCl hydrogen-bonding interactions.
