✦ Synopsis


The Cu II atom in the title compound, [Cu(

is chelated by two pyrazinyltetrazolate ligands and, in addition, coordinated by two water molecules in a tetragonally elongated octahedral geometry [Cu-N = 1.990 (2) and 2.056 (2) A ˚, and Cu-O = 2.445 (2) A ˚]. The Cu II atom lies on a center of inversion. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by O-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. The free water molecule is disordered about a twofold axis.
