✦ Synopsis
The title manganese complex, [Mn(C 9 H 10 NO 2 ) 2 (C 6 H 6 N 2 O) 2 -(H 2 O) 2 ]Á2H 2 O, is monomeric and centrosymmetric. It contains two 4-(dimethylamino)benzoate (DMAB) and two nicotinamide (NA) ligands, two coordinated and two uncoordinated water molecules, all ligands being monodentate. The four O atoms in the equatorial plane around the Mn atom form a slightly distorted square-planar arrangement, while the distorted octahedral coordination is completed by the two NA N atoms in the axial positions. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO and N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules to form a supramolecular structure.

The title compound, [Mn(C 2 H 2 N 9 ) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ]Á2H 2 O, has been prepared under hydrothermal conditions. The Mn II atom, lying on an inversion center, is coordinated in an octahedral geometry defined by four N atoms from two di-1H-tetrazol-5ylaminate ligands in the equatorial plane and two water
