The design of a narrowband MIC filter using the high-Q lumped resonators is presented. The unloaded Q-factor of the lumped resonator estimated by theory and experiment is about 150 at 2.44 GHz. A two-section bandpass filter prototype is designed and tested. This filter demonstrates a maximum inserti

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A simple design technique for a microwave lumped and transversal filter using constant‐k filter sections is presented. The noise figure can be suppressed by source degeneration inductors, which are added to the transversal element. The filter elements are analytically derived based on the specification and the noise minimization. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, a novel type of dual‐band bandpass filter (DBBPF) is proposed by using microstrip composite resonators, and its design method is developed based on the lumped‐element equivalent circuit of the filter. Both the midband frequencies and the passband widths of the dual band
## Abstract In this work, a novel microstrip bandpass filter with a wide stopband is proposed. With the assistance of an open stub, one modified open‐circuit coupled line with symmetrical feeding, a long transmission line, and a wide stopband with a sufficient rejection level can be achieved. Detai
## Abstract A dual‐band microstrip bandpass filter with controllable bandwidth is proposed by using new dual‐band resonators. The resonator consists of a pair of shunt open stubs, including a stepped‐impedance open stub. The open stubs produce three transmission zeros, which result in sharp attenua
## Abstract In this article, a novel multilayer second‐order coupled‐resonator bandpass filter with harmonics suppression is proposed to improve the stopband characteristics. The proposed filter has been implemented in a five‐layer configuration using multilayer PCB technology. The measured results
## Abstract A novel dual‐band bandpass filter is proposed in this article. Multiple stepped impedance resonators are shunt‐connected with the transmission line section to realize the dual‐band filter. Therefore, a transmission zero, which will increase isolation, can be easily generated in the midd
