โฆ Synopsis
So[tware pr~?ject planning and resource estimation problems are characterized by a large number ~[ complex and dynamic parameters whose relationships eontinuously evolve with ehanges in the pr~jeet environment. For the analysis ~?[ the so[h~'are pr(~ject planning task, ./bur O'pes (?[basic knowledge were distinguished. The objectives o['the pr(~ject were determined by the cognitive concepts that underlie the planning and estimation task and that could be implemented in an intelligent inter[iwe model. The protoO,pe model was developed on a Symbolics workstation with the KEE environment.

In this paper an intelligent business forecaster for strategic business planning is presented. The forecaster is basically a multi-layered fuzzy rulebased neural network which integrates the basic elements and functions of a traditional fuzzy logic inference into a neural network structure. This paper describes the design of a GPIB interface for the VELA (Versatile Laboratory Aid) intelligent interface system. It includes a brief description of the VELA, and how it might be used in data capture and scientific experimental control, to provide a concurrent interface processing facility f
