The in-plane magnetic ÿeld (B || ) dependence of cyclotron resonance is investigated in both single and double layer two-dimensional electron systems by Fourier spectrometry in tilted magnetic ÿelds. The observed B || dependence of the cyclotron mass (mC) is complicated and varies with perpendicular
