Radiation patterns of an N = N microstrip array mounted on a cylindrical body are analyzed using a full-wa¨e approach. Theoretical results are also ¨erified by the experiments. A significant cur¨ature effect on the radiation pattern in the roll plane is obser¨ed, with the sidelobe le¨el strongly dependent on the cylinder radius.
