✦ Synopsis


The analysis of radiation and scattering from a multiregion ( ) quasiplanar structure using the con¨entional method of moments MoM is computationally expensi¨e. To circum¨ent this difficulty, a computational scheme that supplements the classical MoM with the steepest descent fast-multipole algorithm is presented in this paper. This proposed methodology is particularly well suited to the analysis of finite microstrip antenna arrays.
