To the Editor:

The etiology of ulcerative colitis (UC) remains unclear. As effective drugs for induction of remission and maintenance therapy for the disease, immunomodulators are often used in UC patients. Cryptococcus neoformans infection in UC patients using immunomodulators occurs rarely; herein we reported two cases and reviewed the relevant literature.
