β¦ Synopsis
Different techniques of cryogenic liquid sampling are discussed. Sampling lines for cryogenic liquids must be as short as possible with minimum heat inleak in order to deliver samples with little or no vaporization. Also the vaporizers used must avoid causing composition changes in the liquids Methods of avoiding sample contamination and ensuring safe handling are also discussed.

The design engineer has in the past met with some scarcity of data on the transport properties of cryogenic liquids; even for the simplest calculations he has had to resort to crude extrapolations and unreliable estimates. In this paper three transport properties are thoroughly investigated for nine
