## Abstract In this letter, we experimentally study a T and a shuntβstubβshaped microstripβfed slot antenna backed by a ground plane. The proposed antenna has a frequency bandwidth of approximately 54% for __S__~11~β€β10 dB, centered around 2.5 GHz, with relatively good pattern characteristics.βΒ© 20

A new type of microstrip patch antenna is designed and developed to be used in ground-penetrating radar (GPR) applications. The developed antenna is an E-shaped rectangular patch, with additional co-planar microstrip resonators and a slotted ground plane. The measurements show that this antenna prov
## Abstract Numerical and experimental study of the effect of the ground plane size on radiation pattern of microstrip antenna on thick substrate is presented in the article. First the results of simulations and measurements of reference microstrip antenna are shown. Next the ground plane sizes wer
In this research, a patch array antenna for mobile satellite communications aiming at ETS-VIII applications has been developed. The ground plane size effects on the antenna characteristics were investigated. Finite and infinite ground planes were analysed by the finite integration technique (FIT) fo
The radiation chamcteristics of a parabolic cylindrical refictor antenna fed by a linear microstrip patch array operated at fi band are studied. CaLiiy model and physical optics approximations are used to analyze the patch array and the induced currents on the reflector surface, respectively. Radiat
