Abstract

In this letter, we experimentally study a T and a shunt‐stub‐shaped microstrip‐fed slot antenna backed by a ground plane. The proposed antenna has a frequency bandwidth of approximately 54% for S~11~≤−10 dB, centered around 2.5 GHz, with relatively good pattern characteristics. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. ## Abstract The triple‐offsets‐fed ring‐slot antenna backed by a ground plane with large bandwidth and high gain is presented experimentally in this paper. The return loss, radiation pattern, and antenna gain of this configuration are presented. Although the use of a high relative permittivity (ε~_
