โœฆ Synopsis

Color snapshot of a trapped 87 Rb Bose-Einstein turbulent condensate containing about 10 5 atoms. The cloud contains a number of quantized vortices spread all over the atomic sample, arranged in an irregular tangled configuration reminding Swiss cheese. The turbulent vortex configuration, observed in a trapped superfluid, presents new perspectives for investigating quantum turbulence phenomena in finite systems.

Significant changes of nuclear chromatin in the Capan-2 cells were observed under fluorescent microscopy after LED-activated Pa. In the control groups, the nuclear chromatin was stained a less bright blue. After being irradiated by LED-activated Pa, the blue emission light in the Capan-2 cells was m

Five flasks were positioned in the LED-based device. The light fluence at the first stack flask was of 36ยฑ4 J/cm 2 , decreasing as a function of distance of each flask to the illumination surface. After irradiation, the cell cultures were incubated at 37 โ€ข C for 2 hours, and then the cell counting a

This figure shows the shape of 592 nm yellow laser beam at maximum output power of 37 mW. The M 2 factor are about 1.62, measured by knifeedge technique, which shows that the laser output at 592 nm is operating near TEM00 mode. (Cover picture:

In order to analyze the effect of milling parameters on the sub-ฮผm grating structures, the technique for creating cross-sections of the milled structures was optimized. The cross-sectioning was done in situ using the same FIB machine that produced the grating structure. The optimized method started

To design a "resonant diffraction" grating suitable for tuning the wavelength of a mid-IR laser, we selected quartz as substrate material, copper (Cu) as mirror material, thorium fluoride (ThF 4) as the material for the dielectric film, and germanium (Ge) for fabricating the corrugation on top of th
