Fluorescent Signalling of the Brain Neurotransmitter γ-Aminobutyric Acid and Related Amino Acid Zwitterions. -Compound (V) combining an aza-crown ether unit and a guanidinium receptor moiety is used as fluorescent sensor. (V) shows a significant fluorescence enhancement with γ-aminobutyric acid in
