✦ Synopsis
The L 2,3-MM Auger spectra of HCI and Ar have been calculated. Strong interaction between the Auger diagram state 40~~ and correlation states explains the absence of the L ~,s-LM: peak in the HCl spectrum. For argon semi-internal CI reproduces the high-kinetic-energy redon, while 3. fairly large expansion of contkgntions is necessary to reproduce the low-kinetic-energy part of the spectrum_ 2. The millimeter-wave rotational spectra of 79 BrNO and 81 BrNO in the v 2 ϭ 1 and v 3 ϭ 2 vibrational states have been reinvestigated. Measurements of the rotational spectrum in the region of maximum c-type Coriolis interaction between the two states allowed the previous analysis to be extended to ac
