Abstract
A compact dual‐mode bandpass filter (BPF) using equilateral triangular slotted‐patch resonator is proposed, which has the advantages of compact size, low insertion loss, and good passband selectivity because of two transmission zeros located at the low and high stopband. A demonstration BPF is optimized, fabricated, and tested. The simulated and measured results are presented and show good agreements. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
