✦ Synopsis
The title complex, [Co(NCS) 2 (C 8 H 8 N 2 O) 2 ], possesses crystallographically imposed twofold symmetry. The Co II atom is coordinated by four N atoms and two O atoms in a distorted octahedral geometry. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁS and N-HÁ Á ÁS hydrogen bonds.
