Synthesis of Immunocomponents for the Measurement of Lead (Pb) by Fluorescence Polarization Immunoassay.
-The development of an immunoassay for lead, based on the inhibition of 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase and its indication by fluorescence polarization (FPIA), is described. Five fluorescent tracers (I) and (II) and 3 immunogens (bearing bovine serum albumin chains instead of fluorescein) are synthesized. Lead calibration curves are generated.
