Synthesis and Anticholinesterase Properties of Diacetylene Diamines. -All diacetylene diamines (VI), synthesized by Mannich reaction of Ξ±,Ο-diacetylenes with amines and formaldehyde, possess non-selective anticholinesterase activity. It is shown, that the biological activity is reduced in stericall

β¦ Synopsis
Synthesis and Anticholinesterase Activity of Amines and Diamines of the Furan Series and Their Salts.
-A number of primary, secondary, and tertiary amines and diamines of furomethyl substituted cyclopentanes and cyclohexanes are synthesized and evaluated for their biological activity. All the synthesized compounds (II),(IV),(V),(VII),and (IX) show anticholinesterase activity. The cyclohexanes prove to be somewhat more active than the corresponding cyclopentanes. -(NIKOLAEVA, T.
