## Abstract Nitrile oxides 2a, b and nitrile imines 2cโ€“e are added to the C ๏ฃพ C bond of 4โ€arylideneโ€2โ€phenylโ€5(4__H__)โ€thiazolones 1 to afford spiroโ€isoxazolines 3aโ€“d and spiroโ€pyrazolines 3eโ€“j, respectively. The cycloaddition reactions are regioselective and only one of the two possible regioisome
