4 (NCS) 9 ] •0.5H 2 O (space group C2/c, monoclinic, Z = 8) and for [Mo 6 SnSe 8 (H 2 O) 18 ] (TosO -) 8 •2TosOH•28H 2 O (space group P1, triclinic, Z = 1). The latter one is the first example of an Se-containing corner-shared double cube. Conversion of single cubes into corner-shared double cubes is achieved by reductive addition. The displacement of In I from [W 3 InSe 4 (H 2 O) 12 ] 5+ by Sn II is consistent with equilibrium processes involving dissociation of the heteroatom. -(HERNANDEZ-MOLINA,
