Novel Highly Active Thromboxane A2 Synthase Inhibitors Devoid of Carboxylic Groups.

-Compound (Va) is found to be a highly active inhibitor of P450 TxA2 as aromatase inhibitor 50 times stronger than aminoglutethimide. These results make it to an interesting candidate in prophylaxis of tumor metastases. Product (Vb) is much less active than (Va) (no yields given).
