Efficient and Enantioselective Catalysis by the Semisynthetic Peroxidase Seleno-Subtilisin.

-It is found that alkyl aryl hydroperoxides can be resolved efficiently by seleno-subtilisin. Seleno-subtilisin shows a catalytic efficiency comparable to native enzymes and an enantioselectivity assessable from known subtilisin substrates.
