Crystal Structure, Ferromagnetic Ordering and Magnetic Anisotropy for Two Cyano-Bridged Bimetallic Compounds of Formula Mn 2 (H
-Slow diffusion of aqueous solutions containing K 4 [Mo(III)(CN) 7 ]•2H 2 O and Mn(NO 3 ) 2 •6H 2 O affords well shaped single crystals of two cyano-bridged bimetallic phases ordering ferromagnetically with a pronounced magnetic anisotropy in the magnetically-ordered phase. XRD of the α-and β-phases show monoclinic structures (both space group P2 1 /c, Z = 4) in form of elongated plates (α-phase) and prisms (β-phase). All the cyano groups are bridging.
