Abstract

High diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities are observed in the three‐component Mannich‐type reaction of diazoacetophenone (I) with alcohol (III) and para‐ or meta‐substituted aromatic imines (II) using a Rh~2~(O‐Ac)~4~/BINOL‐derived chiral phosphoric acid catalyst combination.
