Resolution and Biological Activity of 1-(2-Hydroxy-3-nonyl)-1,2,4triazole-3-carboxamide.

-The synthesis and diastereomeric resolution of the title carboxamides, which are good inhibitors of adenosine deaminase, is described. The erythro isomer (VIII) proves to be more potent than the threo one (IX).
